About the Role
AIM (Assessment Intervention Management) is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. We are a company that reimagines special education services by pairing clinicians with proprietary technology, allowing therapists to focus on students. Responsibilities
- Plan and provide individual and group therapy aligned with IEP goals
- Evaluate student progress and readiness for dismissal from services
- Conduct independent evaluations to assess eligibility for speech-language services
- Participate in IEP/ARD meetings to support appropriate placement and goal setting
- Collaborate with teachers to support communication skills through classroom activities
- Provide guidance to school personnel on identifying and understanding communication deficits
- Communicate therapy goals and progress with colleagues, students, and parents
- Support ongoing evaluation of speech-language services and recommend improvements
- Assist in the selection of equipment and instructional materials
- Compile and maintain accurate, timely reports and records meeting district and state requirements
Requirements
- Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Active Texas SLP license
- Valid driver's license
- Some travel to campus sites within your service area
- Light lifting and transport of therapy and test materials
- Background check clearing you to work in public school settings
