About the Role
Van Bortel Automotive Group is seeking a service advisor to oversee service orders and customer experience, ensuring prompt and effective service. This role involves managing technician workflow, assisting with diagnostics, and administering warranty claims.
Responsibilities
- Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane, ensuring prompt, courteous, and effective customer service.
- Take ownership of the customer's experience by completing additional assignments to leave a positive impression.
- Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries via phone or in person.
- Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers.
- Distribute work between technicians efficiently.
- Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs.
- Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards.
- Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems and order necessary parts and tools.
- Oversee administration of warranty claims, and training and supervision of the service department.
- Reinforce company policies and adhere to company standards.
- Encourage compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintain a good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations.
- Complete and communicate results of Video Multi Point Inspection.
