About the Role
We are seeking an experienced HR professional to support our local organization and ensure compliance with German labor law and corporate HR policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations (employment contracts, onboarding, probation management, offboarding)
- Ensure compliance with local Labor Code and local collective agreements
- Manage payroll coordination with external providers
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting
- Lead recruitment activities for commercial, technical, and support functions
- Develop local employer branding initiatives
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely talent acquisition
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies
- Manage employee relations matters, disciplinary procedures, and terminations
- Support collective negotiations when applicable
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Implement performance management frameworks aligned with HQ
- Support annual appraisal and bonus review processes
- Identify training and development needs
- Drive employee engagement initiatives
- Support salary benchmarking and compensation review
- Manage local benefits programs (insurance, pension, meal vouchers, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with social security and tax requirements
- Provide HR insights and workforce planning support to management
- Prepare HR reports and headcount analysis
- Support organizational restructuring when required
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of German labor law and HR compliance
- Experience managing employee relations
- Flexible regarding frequent business travels when required
