About the Role

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a professional office environment, enjoys helping others, and is motivated to grow into a licensed insurance sales position. As our front desk Receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for clients—creating a welcoming, professional experience while supporting daily agency operations. You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the insurance business, learn the client lifecycle, and receive mentorship from experienced team members—all while preparing to pursue licensing and transition into a sales role if it’s the right fit.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and visitors professionally—in person, over the phone, and via email
Manage scheduling, appointments, and day-to-day office communications
Support administrative tasks including maintaining records and organizing documentation
Handle basic customer inquiries and route clients to licensed team members as needed
Participate in client interactions to identify needs and uncover potential coverage gaps
Assist with quoting support, follow-ups, and outreach efforts
Collaborate with the team on office operations and special projects

Requirements

Customer service, administrative, or retail/sales experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn
Comfortable engaging with customers and exploring sales opportunities
Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to new systems
Interest in obtaining a Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health license (guidance provided)
