About the Role
Join New York Imaging (NYI) as an Ultrasound Technologist, performing a variety of ultrasound exams including general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, and breast procedures. This role involves preparing preliminary impressions, communicating findings, ensuring equipment maintenance, and assisting physicians with procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of ultrasound exams, including general, vascular, cardiac, gyn/small parts, and breast (screening, diagnostic, procedural).
- Prepare preliminary impressions and communicate findings to radiologists/cardiologists.
- Ensure proper equipment maintenance and documentation.
- Follow all radiology protocols and prioritize emergent cases.
- Assist physicians with procedures and biopsies.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program (or equivalent).
- RDMS Breast required.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location
- Suffolk County, NY
Work Type
- 4/10 hour shifts
- Mon, Wed-Fri (between 7:30am-6:00pm), RDO Tuesday
