About the Role
As Cluster Hotel Manager for Northern Europe, you will be the connecting force between hotels across the region, leading one hotel as a host while overseeing the performance and seamless operation of others. You will combine strategic thinking with a passion for hospitality and continuous development.
Responsibilities
- Be the go-to person for Ruby Zoe in London, serving as the primary contact for your team, guests, and external partners.
- Represent Ruby Zoe, Ruby Lucy, Ruby Stella, Ruby Molly, and Ruby Frida, collaborating closely with Hotel Managers and staying connected with on-site teams.
- Build high-performing teams through recruitment, onboarding, and development at Ruby Zoe, fostering a positive culture across the cluster.
- Lead by example, actively participating as part of the team and being ready to assist with operations.
- Monitor financial performance, ensuring budgets are met, forecasts are accurate, and costs are controlled across the cluster.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, driving performance and strategic planning.
- Uphold the Ruby Spirit, ensuring consistency in style, quality standards, and the Lean Luxury philosophy across all cluster hotels.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in an operational leadership role within the lifestyle hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Solid knowledge of POS and PMS systems (Opera Cloud is a plus).
- Inspiring and charismatic leadership style, with the ability to motivate people while remaining approachable, authentic, and hands-on.
- Natural host with excellent communication skills, capable of building genuine connections.
- Willingness to lead by example and be actively involved in operations.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in any additional European language is a bonus.
