About the Role

Perform tasks involved in the production of Northern Contours’ company products, including CNC operation, routing, sanding, gluing, pressing, trimming/buffing, inspecting, or packaging. Follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production. Understand and practice respectful workplace habits.

Responsibilities

• Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Be available to work in all areas of production.
• Follow schedules and perform work as assigned by department supervisor.
• Work as part of a team.
• Learn and retain on the job training.
• Adhere to all Northern Contours, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Wrap and pallet finished goods as determined by customer orders.
• Track production on schedule provided by Supervisor.
• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Must be able to use simple math and basic handheld measuring tools.
• Some production experience preferred.
• Requires precaution, training and safety equipment (including safety glasses, ear plugs, closed toe shoes, gloves, etc.).
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to move and handle product without damage to the product.
• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks while staying focused.
• Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours or more per day, with bending and twisting.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to fifty (50) lbs.
• Must be able to use hands and fingers, to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
