About the Role
Support Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts and ensure activities align with G-TEKT CSR and Corporate Governance initiatives. Implement activities to improve business operations through a strategy of Steady Compliance, enhancing trust among customers, associates, and society.
Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas including offices, breakrooms, kitchens, and restrooms.
- Pick up and empty trash containers daily in common areas and check/empty outside trash daily.
- Clean and wash windows in common areas regularly.
- Clean, sanitize, and restock supplies and toiletries in restrooms, kitchens, and breakrooms.
- Clean walls regularly.
- Mop all floors in common areas daily.
- Vacuum all rugs in common areas daily.
- Clean ceiling vents and lights quarterly.
- Examine property for safety hazards and report problems to the Facilities Manager or appropriate staff.
- Maintain a neat and orderly custodian room, ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Able to work independently.
- Knowledge of safety hazards and proper use of cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
- Blood Borne Pathogen training is required upon hire.
- Detail/Task-oriented and thorough.
- Ability to perform basic repairs and operate tools or equipment used in routine maintenance.
- Ability to keep the building clean and orderly.
- Ability to interact with associates, management, visitors, and vendors professionally.
- Prolonged periods of standing/walking.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
