About the Role
The Technical Sales Specialist will identify and build critical relationships in the Aerospace and Defense, Nuclear Power Generation, and Next-Generation Semiconductor markets to meet annual sales goals for specialized raw materials and fibers. Success requires strong sales acumen combined with a deep understanding of Free Form Fibers' unique technologies.
Responsibilities
- Understand and translate the Annual Sales Plan into measurable results.
- Execute the entire sales cycle from prospect identification to deal closure.
- Develop and maintain critical customer and partner relationships.
- Navigate and succeed in highly specialized technical markets including Aerospace/Aviation, Nuclear Power Generation, Defense/Hypersonics, and Next-Generation Semiconductor.
- Clearly communicate the value of silicon carbide, silicon nitride, high temperature carbides/diborides materials, and the associated LCVD and EWCVD technologies and produced fibers.
- Gather Voice of Customer (VoC) data and communicate it back to the Sales Lead.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Communications or related field is required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or related field is desired.
- Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, including presentation and objection handling.
- Proven sales results.
- Demonstrated excellence in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
- Demonstrated success working in a highly technical/specialized field.
- Demonstrated success in learning quickly and applying that learning.
- Proven ability to identify and close gaps.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze data to drive decision-making and process improvements.
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and commitment to high quality standards.
- No restrictions on operating a motor vehicle.
- Ability to travel 60-70% of the time, including internationally, to visit suppliers, customers, or partner facilities.
