About the Role
We are seeking a Software Engineer to design and develop software applications that meet business and user needs. This role involves creating detailed tickets, stories, and epics, writing technical documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders on project status and technical issues.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications to meet business and user needs
- Create tickets, stories, and epics describing the task and associated success metrics and time commitment
- Write technical documentation relating to engineering projects and processes
- Consult with customers or other departments on project status, proposals, or technical issues, such as software system design or maintenance
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure code quality, consistency, and adherence to best practices
- Participate in design, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings as part of the software development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other closely related degrees
- Education, coursework, or experience in coding in programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, or similar languages
- Education, coursework, or experience in Machine Learning
- Education, coursework, or experience in System Programming
- Education, coursework, or experience in Analysis of Algorithms
