About the Role
MERKUR Slots is seeking a passionate individual to join their team, focusing on providing excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere in their gaming venues. Comprehensive training is provided, so prior industry experience is not required.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the venue is maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness, including gaming equipment, floors, and walls.
- Offer service rounds and refreshments according to brand guidelines.
- Monitor customer behavior for suspicious or disruptive activities.
- Assist with administrative tasks with 100% accuracy.
- Support the smooth execution of promotions.
- Deliver customer service in line with company standards to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Own and resolve customer issues, escalating when necessary.
- Interact with customers and intervene appropriately, logging all interactions.
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and adhere to the brand dress code.
- Develop and share excellent product knowledge to enhance the customer journey.
- Understand and apply company policies regarding safeguarding and Challenge 25.
- Actively discourage harassment, victimisation, or discrimination.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Passion for providing first-class service.
- Flexibility to work on a rota basis, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in retail, hospitality, or gambling environments is beneficial.
