About the Role
As a Frontend Engineer, you will own the client-side experience of the platform, building data-dense, enterprise-grade interfaces for financial services users. This role involves close collaboration with design and full-stack adjacent responsibilities, translating Figma designs into production code and owning features end-to-end.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Angular-based interfaces for core product features including integration configuration, transformation building, workflow monitoring, execution results, and audit log views.
- Own features end-to-end, from design files through Angular components, Python API endpoints, and production deployment.
- Implement and extend the component library in coordination with the design team.
- Build high-performance data views such as filterable tables, real-time execution output streams, transformation diff views, and audit logs.
- Translate Figma designs into production Angular components with high fidelity, using Figma Dev Mode and design tokens.
- Collaborate with the design team during the design process, flagging constraints, prototyping in code, and driving quality.
- Maintain Storybook as the living documentation for the component library.
- Implement streaming UI patterns for AI-generated transformation outputs, including progressive rendering, token-by-token display, and interruption/retry handling.
- Build interfaces for AI-suggested transformations, including multi-step diff views, accept/reject/edit flows, and inline suggestions.
- Design and implement feedback mechanisms to capture user corrections and improve AI quality signals.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests and maintain confidence through the CI pipeline.
- Optimize for Core Web Vitals and application performance using techniques like lazy loading, OnPush change detection, and virtual scrolling.
- Apply Angular's security patterns and implement RBAC-aware UI rendering for permission-scoped features.
- Build to WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility standards.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional frontend engineering experience.
- Experience building and shipping features in production SaaS environments.
- Deep proficiency in Angular, including components, services, RxJS, reactive forms, lazy loading, standalone components, and Angular CDK.
- Strong TypeScript skills.
- Comfortable writing backend API endpoints in Python (e.g., FastAPI) for full feature ownership.
- Figma fluency, including Dev Mode, components, and design tokens, for direct work from design files to production code.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jasmine/Jest for unit tests and Cypress or Playwright for integration and E2E tests.
- Experience with state management patterns such as NgRx, Akita, or comparable reactive state patterns.
- Active user of AI coding assistants in daily workflow.
