About the Role
The Baillie Group's Owego, NY location is hiring for a Maintenance Technician. This is a full-time opportunity with a world-class hardwood lumber manufacturer.
Responsibilities
- Conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and components.
- Applies knowledge of electrical/electronic and mechanical principles to determine equipment malfunctions and restore equipment to operation.
- Provides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronic support to all manufacturing areas.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numerical controls, power supplies, drives, gages, and test equipment.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required.
- Welding experience required.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work well with all levels of personnel, individually or in a team environment.
- Ability to interface and communicate with line operators for repairs and troubleshooting.
