About the Role

Help individuals with disabilities find and maintain inclusive, competitive employment through coaching, training, and on-the-job guidance. Collaborate with employers to ensure lasting success, build strong partnerships, and create inclusive workplaces.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with disabilities in seeking and maintaining gainful employment, including job searching and completing applications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in teaching skills to assist individuals in acquiring new or additional skills.
  • Provide instruction or guidance through one-on-one or small group instruction in various environments to achieve formal outcomes associated with an Individual's Habilitation Plan.
  • Assist with initial job site training and setup, ensuring the employee progresses toward meeting job expectations.
  • Suggest further breakdown of tasks to ensure achievable outcomes.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Two years of providing employment-related services to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Valid NYS Driver's license.

Location

  • Canandaigua, NY

Work Type

  • Full-Time
  • 40 hours
  • Monday through Friday

  • $19.67 - $20.95
