About the Role

SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care provides services for children and adults using positive programming and non-aversive strategies. Our services are tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), or mental illness to help them achieve their best overall health and well-being. Our evidence-based programs and therapies are designed to give youth and adults more positive, active, and social lives.

Responsibilities

Conducts ongoing assessments to meet patient needs.
Communicates progress between supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals.
Provides a monthly schedule of appointments, home visits, and observations to supervisors.
Coordinates home, work, and/or community-based visits for observations, chart reviews, staff interviews, and data analysis.
Ensures effective and proper implementation of the Behavior Intervention Plan.
Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other required meetings.
Completes monthly and/or quarterly progress notes.
Organizes training to certify staff and team members in Behavior Intervention Plan implementation and documentation.
Provides follow-up interviews, home visits, and observations for continued individual support.
Maintains strong clinical records for easy access.
Acts as a liaison with the public and mental health community to support goal development.
Assists in creating procedures for training materials to improve programs.
Completes continued education on behaviorally based interventions and techniques.

Requirements

Must have experience with behavioral intervention and/or strong educational emphasis on learning and developmental psychology.
Two or more years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a behaviorally challenged population.
Must have reliable transportation.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, bending, and moving from seated to standing regularly.
