About the Role

This is an opportunity for a Food Service Position at Sunnyview Rehabilitation Center. St. Peter's Health Partner's offers career opportunities and quality of life, with strong orientation, tuition allowance, career development, and flexible positions and shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the dish room cleaning and putting dishes away
  • Work on feet most of the day lifting items up to 50 lbs
  • Work in freezer and cooler with food checking dates and bring in new stock
  • Prepare menu items identified on the production sheet, in accordance with forecasted and/or tallied quantities, following MHCI recipes at all times
  • Prepare salad items, cold food items, and desserts for patients and retail
  • Adhere to HACPP guidelines to maintain sanitation of all food preparation and service
  • Perform a variety of cleaning tasks which may include dish washing, pot washing, general sanitation, cleaning and use of kitchen equipment
  • Assist in the service and storage of food

Requirements

  • Food service and customer service experience is required
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to read and write
  • Willing to work AM & PM shifts and weekends and holidays
