About the Role

Lone Star Circle of Care is a non-profit, Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality health care to patients in Central Texas. Responsibilities

Provide care both in person and virtually.
Work with patients to decide the best course of treatment in achieving their goals in an outpatient setting.
Interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety if a patient needs a higher level of care.
Participate in after hours on call rotation 3-4 times a year.
Document efficiently within an electronic health record.
Conduct telemedicine visits.
Communicate and meet with colleagues virtually.

Requirements

Board-certified physician.
Passionate about working with the underserved population who may be experiencing significant barriers to care.
Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality primary healthcare.
Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues.
Current valid license to practice in the State of Texas.
Possess computer/technology skills.
