About the Role
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, delegate tasks, empower the team, and foster a safe, credible, and positive working environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to safety training and direction.
- Provide a safe working environment through weekly safety training, policy enforcement, and addressing unsafe conditions.
- Receive and put away all Purchase Orders within 24 hours.
- Complete daily warehouse 'Facting' maintenance (face product, align product, clean/cut, tag, and sweep).
- Maintain ongoing communication with management, customers, vendors, and teammates.
- Regularly inspect the warehouse for cleanliness and safety hazards, including vehicles and powered industrial trucks.
- Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings with the team, selecting engaging topics.
- Attend and be prepared for all scheduled meetings, including regional, manager, and satellite operations/safety meetings.
- Assist in investigating issues that question warehouse credibility and address concerns with urgency.
- Regularly update satellite shared files to ensure current metrics and data.
- Collaborate with management on continuous technological improvements with the IT department.
- Coordinate with management and HR to address personnel needs, assisting in recruiting, training, and development.
- Potentially travel to other satellites for support.
- Participate in further training, meetings, and certifications as required.
- Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned by direct manager, including daily opening and closing.

Requirements
- Ability to pass a non-DOT physical with drug screen.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Detail-oriented.
- Ability to assess personnel and processes for continuous improvement.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively.
- Experience driving a 26’ box truck (Preferred).
- Problem-solving skills to handle customer complaints and production issues.
- AS400 background (Preferred).
- Proficient in Microsoft programs including Outlook, Teams, and Word (Preferred).
- Experienced with handheld equipment, including RF scanners, palm devices, and tablets (Preferred).
- Experienced with warehouse equipment including forklifts, electric pallet trucks, elevated work platforms, and manual pallet jacks (Preferred).
- Valid Driver’s License.
- High school diploma / GED equivalent.
