About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead electronic hardware design from concept to production. You will translate product requirements into schematics, circuits, and manufacturable boards, overseeing them through verification and testing. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and aims to innovate in the field of electronics for the AI era.
Responsibilities
- Design analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits based on requirements and specifications.
- Perform schematic capture and guide PCB layout, including component selection, footprint creation, and BOM management.
- Conduct circuit simulations and analyses (e.g., SPICE) for power, signal integrity, timing, and thermal aspects.
- Design power supplies, sensor interfaces, communication interfaces (I²C, SPI, UART, USB, Ethernet, etc.), and microcontroller/processor subsystems.
- Perform prototype bring-up and debugging in the lab using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other bench equipment.
- Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, verification, and test engineers throughout the development process.
- Prepare design documentation, review packages, and support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and cost reduction initiatives.
- Assist with compliance activities (EMC/EMI, safety, regulatory) as designs progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in electronic circuit and PCB design.
- Proficiency with schematic/PCB design software (e.g., Altium, Cadence, KiCad).
- Strong understanding of analog and digital fundamentals, power electronics, and high-speed design principles.
- Experience debugging hardware using standard lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers.
