About the Role
The Transformation Office team works closely with senior leaders to chart the course for Humana’s future, supporting the execution of enterprise strategy by identifying opportunities, designing solutions, and implementing initiatives to fundamentally change member, patient, provider, and associate experiences. The team is modeled after top-tier management consultancies, working on fast-paced, high-visibility projects aligned with the enterprise’s most important Transformation topics.
Responsibilities
- Leads execution of one or more workstreams with limited support from team leadership
- Solves problems flexibly, able to effortlessly jump between quantitative analysis, qualitative research, stakeholder management, and slide design
- Delivers high-quality, data-backed deliverables with limited rework
- Translates insights into effective written communication, typically PowerPoint
- Develops trust-based relationships with business partners
- Demonstrates a growth mindset, requesting and acting upon coaching and feedback to accelerate professional development
- Program management experience on driving large-scale, transformational change programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in management consulting (solving strategic and operational problems for large-scale businesses) OR healthcare industry experience (payer, provider, or insurance preferred) with involvement in strategy, operations, or transformation efforts
- Demonstrable capabilities with quantitative analysis and research
- Demonstrable capabilities with stakeholder management
- Demonstrable capabilities with slide design
- Demonstrable capabilities with executive communications in PowerPoint or Word formats
- Demonstrated ability to structure problems and develop business recommendations using hypothesis-driven thinking
- Experience supporting complex or cross-functional workstreams, with exposure to stakeholder-driven environments
