About the Role
As an ETRM Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and improving the trading systems at the heart of EDF's wholesale business. You will work within the Trading Risk Management Centre of Excellence to deliver secure, scalable solutions that support smarter decisions in energy markets. Your work will directly contribute to current operations and future evolution.
Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and improving trading and risk management system components
- Translating business requirements into scalable, effective technical solutions
- Working with stakeholders to deliver features that support trading operations
- Building and maintaining integrations across systems and data sources
- Supporting live systems, including debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Proven experience with SQL, including writing and optimising queries
- Experience working with trading platforms or within an energy trading environment
- Software development experience in at least one language (e.g. .NET, Java, Node.js)
- Experience designing, building, or supporting software solutions in a commercial environment
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
