About the Role

Pulse is seeking a skilled Band 6 Adult Audiologist for a maternity cover position within a Community Audiology Service. This role involves delivering high-quality audiology care to adult patients, managing a caseload, conducting assessments and rehabilitation, and providing hearing aid support.

Responsibilities

• Manage an adult audiology caseload within a community setting.
• Conduct hearing assessments, reassessments, and rehabilitation appointments.
• Provide hearing aid fittings, reviews, and ongoing patient support.
• Deliver high-quality audiology care in line with professional standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
• Work independently whilst supporting wider service delivery.
• Contribute to maintaining continuity of care during a maternity cover period.

Requirements

• Previous NHS Audiology experience.
• Experience managing adult audiology caseloads.
• Strong assessment and rehabilitation skills.
• Confident working independently within a community setting.
• Experience providing hearing aid fittings, reviews, and ongoing support.
• Maintain a high standard of clinical record keeping.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills are essential.
