About the Role
Provide management support to the Pets & Aquatics Department, working closely with the Department Head to ensure the department's success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate stock levels, including ordering and clearance.
- Cooperate with line management and product managers.
- Take responsibility for the department in the manager's absence.
- Purchase within the company product range and guidelines.
- Provide feedback on products to optimize range and stock availability.
- Liaise with Product Managers for optimal range and stock availability.
- Increase sales through customer interaction and initiative.
- Maintain professional appearance standards.
- Organize and allocate team and individual tasks based on customer service needs.
- Handle customer queries and complaints courteously, referring when necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a similar environment is essential.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Customer service skills.
- People management experience.
