About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Reporter to cover the European refined products markets for the OPIS Europe pricing team. In this entry-level role, you will be trained to produce daily price assessments, news, and analytical content.
Responsibilities
- Produce daily price assessments by accumulating and verifying spot market price transactions from industry participants.
- Develop content and news by cultivating industry sources to write stories for our real-time news service.
- Author analytical content focusing on industry trends.
- Contribute to webinars and podcasts.
- Support the regional and global teams in promoting OPIS price assessments to the marketplace.
- Occasionally travel to industry events to promote benchmarks.
Requirements
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Demonstrated interest in commodity markets.
- Ability to quickly analyze data, market drivers, and complex regulatory issues.
- Proficiency in Excel and working with spreadsheets.
- Fluency in additional languages.
