About the Role
This position will support the global ESG Compliance Program by executing and facilitating project management and monitoring ESG related processes. The role involves organizing and administering tasks for ESG initiatives and projects, collaborating with Compliance team members and business partners across Legal, Global Distribution, and Investments.
Responsibilities
- Support procedures of the ESG Compliance Program using knowledge of securities markets and project management skills.
- Gather a detailed understanding of the business needs and objectives of the program and related internal clients globally.
- Provide project management, prioritization, and direction to team members to accomplish defined deliverables.
- Communicate with team members and stakeholders regarding ESG initiatives.
- Plan and prepare periodic daily, monthly and quarterly tasks as required.
- Organize and input data from various sources into internal systems used by the ESG program.
- Review ESG related content, including RFPs, marketing materials, and reports, to identify inconsistencies related to the investment process or regulatory requirements prior to distribution.
- Assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- Relevant experience from an investment management, financial services, or industry related industry.
- Compliance experience.
- Strong knowledge of FCA Rules.
- Must be able to write effectively, and present research, analysis, and conclusions in a persuasive manner.
- Must be thorough, detail-oriented, persistent, self-motivated, and able to function with independence and accuracy.
- Good business judgment and the ability to handle challenges while maintaining a professional approach to problem solving.
- Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and able to develop proficiency in MFS systems as required to perform the duties of this position.
