About the Role
CLS is seeking a highly motivated Cyber Threat Intelligence Senior Analyst to join a global threat intelligence team. This role involves technical and strategic research and analysis of threats relevant to our industry, business, and technologies, including threat actor groups, TTPs, intrusion activities, and geopolitical relevance. The candidate will interact with industry and government partners, mentor team members, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Collects, processes, and disseminates cyber threat intelligence from various sources to create actionable results.
- Coordinates and produces strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence products for diverse stakeholders.
- Provides situational awareness on the current threat landscape and adversary activities, including geopolitical implications and TTPs.
- Assesses emerging threats against the operational environment and collaborates with security teams for detection and mitigation.
- Performs trend and correlation analysis of cyber intelligence to recommend countermeasures.
- Supports incident response investigations.
- Performs basic network security analysis to enhance network security posture.
- Reviews other analysts' work and provides mentorship.
- Actively supports external intelligence sharing engagements with financial institutions and government partners.
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of direct cyber threat intelligence experience.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in information security (cyber security) field, preferably in Threat Intelligence, Security Operations, or Incident Response roles.
- Understanding of the intelligence lifecycle and risk management.
- Knowledge of threat actors' TTP fundamentals.
- Understanding of IOC validation practices and sources.
- Familiarity with the MITRE ATT&CK framework and mapping.
- Geopolitical knowledge and potential impacts to the financial sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor while also contributing to a small team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated strong writing skills; ability to convey complex technical and non-technical concepts.
