Responsibilities
- Support your team to grow and perform at a high standard, ensuring all legislation and EYFS frameworks are adhered to.
- Engage your team to create inspirational, creative and effective learning environments in line with the needs of the children and the nursery.
- Ensure the safety and welfare of children through a confident knowledge of safeguarding processes and procedures.
- Implement the EYFS with a good understanding of child development.
- Report issues of concern to a senior team member or relevant services.
- Partner with parents and our partners to ensure our children thrive.
- Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors to uphold our happy nursery environment.
- Maintain clear and accurate record keeping and report writing.
- Promote a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources, in line with our nursery expectations.
Requirements
- Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Safeguarding Knowledge.
- At least 2 years of experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.
