About the Role

As a Director, you will take a lead role in managing and executing debt advisory mandates, while also contributing significantly to business development and client relationship management. You will work closely with partners to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and support the strategic growth of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of debt advisory transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation of financing solutions.
  • Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across private equity and corporate clients.
  • Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations.
  • Provide strategic input on capital structure optimisation and financing strategy.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on technical and commercial aspects of transactions.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including origination of new mandates and participation in pitch processes.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key lenders, including banks, debt funds, and alternative finance providers.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging financing structures.

Requirements

  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate finance, or a related field.
  • Strong track record of leading transactions and managing client relationships.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Deep understanding of debt markets, financing instruments, and legal documentation.
  • Commercially astute, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Collaborative leadership style, with a passion for developing talent and fostering a high-performance culture.
