About the Role
As a Director, you will take a lead role in managing and executing debt advisory mandates, while also contributing significantly to business development and client relationship management. You will work closely with partners to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients and support the strategic growth of the team.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of debt advisory transactions, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation of financing solutions.
- Manage client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across private equity and corporate clients.
- Oversee the preparation of marketing materials, financial models, and client presentations.
- Provide strategic input on capital structure optimisation and financing strategy.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance on technical and commercial aspects of transactions.
- Contribute to business development efforts, including origination of new mandates and participation in pitch processes.
- Maintain and grow relationships with key lenders, including banks, debt funds, and alternative finance providers.
- Stay abreast of market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging financing structures.
Requirements
- Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in debt advisory, leveraged finance, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Strong track record of leading transactions and managing client relationships.
- Advanced financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of debt markets, financing instruments, and legal documentation.
- Commercially astute, with a strategic mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
