About the Role

ICMP is seeking an inspiring and experienced Programme Leader to provide strategic and academic leadership for our BA (Hons) Electronic Music Production and BA (Hons) DJ and Electronic Music Production programmes across our UK campuses. This role involves shaping and leading a growing area of Audio and Music Production provision, ensuring an outstanding student experience and high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment. You will drive innovation in curriculum design, programme delivery, and industry engagement to equip graduates for success in contemporary electronic music industries.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and academic leadership across both programmes.
Ensure an outstanding student experience and high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
Drive innovation in curriculum design, programme delivery, and industry engagement.
Equip graduates with the skills, knowledge, and creative confidence needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving sector.
Influence the development of a relatively new and expanding subject area.
Establish ICMP as a leading provider of electronic music production education on a national scale.

Requirements

Experience teaching and supporting students in higher education, ideally within electronic music production, music technology, audio production, or related subject areas.
Experience of programme leadership, module leadership, or contributing to curriculum development within higher education.
Strong industry knowledge and professional experience within electronic music production, DJ culture, music technology, sound design, production, performance, or related fields.
A track record of enhancing the student experience and fostering student engagement, success, and progression.
The ability to lead, motivate, and support academic teams, promoting collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion, with an understanding of inclusive teaching practices and curriculum development.
Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to balance academic leadership, operational responsibilities, and stakeholder engagement.
A passion for helping students develop as creative practitioners and future industry professionals.
Successful candidates will be required to obtain a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure.
