About the Role

Ensure successful delivery of assigned projects within UK Life Branch through flexible project management methodologies, enabling collaborative and adaptable project execution. This role may involve commercial and non-commercial projects, with opportunities to contribute to other UKLB and LH1 initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage or provide project management support for material projects throughout their lifecycle.
  • Adapt project management methodology to suit project needs.
  • Balance the demands of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure effective project control, change control, and risk management.
  • Influence and contribute to branch-wide project communications.
  • Support the delivery of core strategic projects and propositions in partnership with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Provide project management mentoring to stakeholders and project teams.
  • Leverage expertise in project management, facilitation, independent challenge, and process efficiency to address business needs.
  • Ensure compliance with Munich Re’s Code of Conduct and the FCA Conduct Rules.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in project management, preferably in the financial services industry.
  • Capable of working in an agile business environment.
  • Excellent persuasive and communication skills for interacting with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, including Senior Management.
  • Pragmatic approach to work.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Enjoy being a team player.
  • Seen as an expert in your field and a 'go to' person for your area of specialism.
  • Demonstrate and role model inclusive behaviour and encourage colleagues to play an active role in creating an inclusive culture.
