About the Role
As an Intern in Deals Strategy & Operations, you will support project teams in advising companies on strategic and operational transaction-related issues, focusing on Post Merger Integration (PMI), Carve-Out, and Operational Due Diligence. You will gain insights into developing and implementing integration and carve-out strategies, and contribute to creating new operating models, synergy analyses, and change management measures. Additionally, you will participate in identifying and assessing operational, financial, and IT-specific risks and opportunities within Operational Due Diligence projects, assisting in the creation of analyses and reports. You will collaborate closely with clients from various sectors in interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Support project teams in advising companies on strategic and operational transaction-related issues.
- Participate in Post Merger Integration (PMI), Carve-Out, and Operational Due Diligence.
- Gain insights into the development and implementation of integration and carve-out strategies.
- Support the creation of new operating models, synergy analyses, and change management measures.
- Assist in identifying and assessing operational, financial, and IT-specific risks and opportunities in Operational Due Diligence projects.
- Support the creation of analyses and reports for Operational Due Diligence projects.
- Collaborate closely with clients in interdisciplinary teams.
Requirements
- Completed at least the third semester of studies in Business Administration or (Business) Engineering.
- Ideally, possess initial professional experience through internships in industry or management consulting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of common Microsoft Office applications (Excel/PowerPoint) for creating analyses and presentations.
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
- Availability for at least 3 months starting September 2026.
