About the Role

In this position, you will jointly manage the technical operation and renovation of our property with the team. You will work closely with management on current and future goals of the department.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee building inspections and safety measures, and be responsible for the restoration of structural facilities inside and outside buildings.
  • Independently manage minor repair work, from tendering to successful implementation, in accordance with the Berlin State Budget Regulations (LHO).
  • Coordinate external service providers and contract partners, and transparently monitor execution via our IT-supported system.
  • Process, manage, and reliably monitor ongoing service requests.
  • Actively contribute to the establishment and adherence of structures, and promote cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, standards, guidelines, and internal quality standards within your area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed studies related to construction or a comparable master craftsman qualification.
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the described field.
  • Sound and current knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
  • First insights into the workings of public authorities and knowledge of public procurement law are desirable.
  • Confident, target-group-oriented communication skills.
  • Entrepreneurial thinking, high reliability, strong problem awareness with solution-oriented action, and an independent, self-responsible working style.
  • Proficient use of common IT applications.
