About the Role
Managing a team of 20 NPI and data governance professionals, this role provides strategic and operational oversight to ensure efficient supplier data onboarding and guide cross-functional system, process, and data model requirements. The focus is on continuous improvement to accelerate product speed to market and enhance product growth capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead business transformation to improve supplier product onboarding using digital technology for automated product introduction processes.
- Proactively manage the product lifecycle from introduction to discontinuation.
- Ensure data governance and accurate product data to protect customers and minimize business risk, supporting all channels to market.
- Implement automation and digital solutions for scalable growth of the RS product range while reducing cost to serve.
- Reduce time to market to under 7 days, ensuring market-leading launch plans and high-quality data/content standards.
- Drive continuous improvement in product launch and lifecycle management using data and insights to manage stakeholder performance and input quality.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team and foster a continuous improvement culture.
- Collaborate with solutions architecture and IT to deliver a flexible, to-be technical architecture for product introduction and maintenance.
- Provide thought leadership for content briefing, standards management, and acquisition capability.
- Lead understanding of NPI cost to serve and its net performance against category and market strategies.
Requirements
- High technical competence with extensive digital know-how.
- Knowledge of enterprise-level Content systems (PIM, DAM, CMS, and ERP).
- Strong leadership capability and experience in large-scale business change and transformation.
- Proven track record of process design and re-engineering.
- Excellent strategic thinking capability and ability to execute plans through teams and third-party partners.
- Experience managing large offshore partners and supplier performance using KPIs.
- Experience leading QBR processes.
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively with diverse internal and external global stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and data-driven mindset.
- Excellent knowledge of continuous improvement methodology and application.
- Budget responsibility, including managing overhead costs and multi-million pound NPI sales and customer views.
