About the Role

The Teammate Driving (Features) team's mission is to realize stable AD/ADAS systems for POV as an automated driving product by using sensors to recognize and judge the situation and control the vehicle appropriately. Our ultimate goal is to provide a new lifestyle that our customer has never experienced before through our automated driving.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements, code, test, evaluate, and discuss with clients and other teams.
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to create safer and more reliable AD/ADAS systems.
• Develop and integrate components of AD/ADAS products to enhance functionality and performance.
• Evaluate software components using simulations and real-world vehicle tests.
• Deliver high-quality software by conducting tests and code reviews to ensure readiness for productization.
• Continuously review and enhance development processes, including workflow and CI/CD practices.
• Report to the driving feature engineering manager.

Requirements

• Experience in research / product development of robotics, AD/ADAS, or related technologies.
• Hands-on software development skills in C/C++ or Python.
• Working proficiency in English.
• Business level proficiency in Japanese (ability to work with customers).
