About the Role

As assistant to Sofia Tilbury, you will ensure she is camera ready and prepared for all externally facing activities. This includes maintaining her beauty kit, skin prep, and makeup application, while collaborating with Sofia's team on preparation planning and timings, and anticipating ad hoc requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Sofia Tilbury is camera ready for shoots, VIP & celebrity red carpet events, on/offline appearances, media and marketing activities, lives, masterclasses, and content creation.
• Serve as the dedicated Makeup Artist, Assistant, and Skin/Beauty Expert for Sofia Tilbury.
• Provide constant support to Sofia Tilbury, being by her side at all times.
• Maintain and prepare Sofia's kit for campaigns, masterclasses, fashion weeks, and VIP appointments, including full pack down.
• Meticulously plan and orchestrate preparation for every activity, ensuring timeliness and anticipating ad hoc requirements.
• Manage Sofia's full kit, props, products, lighting, camera angles, and assist with art direction and editing under guidance.
• Build key relationships within the team, particularly with the Production team, to prepare for upcoming activities.
• Communicate creative insights and best practices to the Artistry team through support with Sofia Tilbury.
• Ensure all objectives are delivered and tasks are completed by deadlines, sharing content/product information post-production.
• Glean creative insight from Sofia and communicate regularly across business areas to support development opportunities.
• Inspire and mobilize Pro talent, sharing feedback from Sofia to drive consistency globally.
• Assist Sofia during NPD to ensure all objectives are met.
• Collaborate with the Global Makeup Assistant to maintain and manage Sofia’s beauty kit, ensuring cleanliness and restocking.
• Organize Sofia's Kit & Glam room, ensuring products are stocked and the area is tidy.
• Accompany on trips, on set, and assist with VIPs as required.
• Manage Sofia Tilbury’s archive.
• Share the Magic with positive and inspiring energy.
• Research current trending products and market innovations.
• Support the Global Pro artist team in the absence of supporting Sofia Tilbury.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Marketing, and Creative Teams on product research, development, and artistry testing.
• Propose and provide feedback on initiatives to support Artistry progression based on expertise and observations.
• Create content for personal and Charlotte's channels.
• Support Global Pro kits to ensure they are event-ready.
• Support VIP appointments inside and outside of territory.

Requirements

• Exceptionally talented makeup artist and skin / beauty expert.
• Flair for the Sofia Tilbury aesthetic and brand look, feel, and language.
• Strong affinity for product and ability to quickly develop rich product knowledge.
• Creative content experience desirable, including strong Social Media Skills and interest in Tiktok & Instagram trends.
• Exceptional relationship builder with strong communication skills.
• Highly pro-active and reactive, anticipating and actioning contingency plans.
• Sensitivity to and experience of working with high-profile individuals & celebrities.
• Methodical, logical, attentive to detail, organized, and calm under pressure.
