About the Role

As a Senior IAM-/IGA-Consultant / Architect, you will be the central technical and functional point of contact for demanding Identity & Access Management projects. You will develop sustainable target architectures, guide complex transformation initiatives from conception to productive implementation, and ensure that technical solutions, governance requirements, and customer processes are effectively integrated.

Responsibilities

Develop sophisticated IAM/IGA architectures based on leading manufacturers like One Identity, SailPoint, Okta, or OpenSource solutions, considering technical, organizational, and regulatory requirements.
Confidently advise clients at management, business, and architecture levels, translating strategic requirements, governance models, and business processes into viable technical solutions.
Take overall technical responsibility for complex IAM/IGA projects, make sound architectural decisions, and support project management and consulting teams with critical technical and functional questions.
Conduct requirements analysis workshops with major clients, provide architectural and strategic consulting, create cross-manufacturer high-level concepts, and support sales in pre-sales activities.
Monitor current developments in the IAM/IGA field, assess their relevance for clients, and strategically integrate suitable innovations into architecture and implementation projects.
Actively engage in the nationwide IAM community with over 60 colleagues, share knowledge as a mentor, support consultants in their professional development, and contribute to the community's continuous advancement through collaboration, mutual support, and experience exchange.

Requirements

Possess extensive experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) or Identity & Access Management (IAM), having designed and successfully implemented complex IAM/IGA architectures in enterprise environments.
Have in-depth knowledge of at least one leading IAM/IGA product such as One Identity Manager, SailPoint IIQ, Okta, or OpenSource solutions.
Possess deep knowledge of adjacent technologies including Active Directory, Entra ID, LDAP, SCIM, SOAP/REST APIs, databases, cloud platforms, and software development.
Be familiar with business processes, compliance, and governance requirements, and be able to advise both technical and business stakeholders equally.
Exhibit confidence in client interactions, present complex issues clearly, and communicate effectively with management, business departments, and technical teams.
Work in a structured, self-reliant, and solution-oriented manner, take responsibility, and maintain an overview even in complex project situations.
