About the Role
Salesforce is seeking a passionate and strategic Account Partner (AP) to lead sales for its CRM product portfolio within designated accounts. The AP will act as a trusted advisor, helping clients achieve significant business value from their Salesforce investments by understanding their lifecycle and driving service adoption. Success will be measured by overall service bookings and year-over-year revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Exceed year-over-year service growth and bookings targets for Salesforce products, achieving organizational health and customer satisfaction goals as a regional leader.
- Leverage industry expertise and business insights to understand customer motivations, business drivers, strategic goals, and desired business outcomes.
- Engage with customers, particularly at the executive level, using a consultative selling approach to establish long-term, trusted advisor relationships with Salesforce.
- Clearly articulate our transformation solutions and create compelling visions, aiming for significant success and business value from customer investments in the Salesforce platform.
- Develop and manage territory plans and individualized account plans aligned with customer business objectives.
- Drive opportunities to achieve year-over-year growth in Salesforce revenue by accurately and timely forecasting and building pipeline.
- Build strong relationships with the license sales organization and regional partner organizations to drive success.
- Serve as a highly regarded role model for collaboration, leadership, and overall performance.
- Apply expert concepts to formulate solutions for critical issues and broad design challenges.
- Address challenges impacting department success or anticipate future initiatives.
- Form extensive networks with key decision-makers and act as an external spokesperson for the organization.
- Exercise broad discretion in determining the objectives and approaches of critical tasks.
- Lead teams on highly visible initiatives and mentor others.
Requirements
- 8+ years of consulting sales experience with a proven track record of consistently exceeding quotas, including 2-3 years of experience selling and/or implementing professional services for a strategic consulting firm or large system integrator.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with executives and be recognized as a trusted advisor.
- Experience with growing accounts on large, complex deals ($1M+).
- Ability to collaborate closely and excel in complex, matrixed environments.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, unpredictable environment.
