About the Role

Support the day-to-day delivery and management of the stage department, ensuring the highest standards for all staging requirements for Donmar productions and related projects. Play a proactive part in the Production Department's operations, including effective planning and management of departmental and building maintenance across all Donmar premises. Promote good working practices, uphold professional standards, and represent the Donmar Warehouse externally.

Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day delivery and management of the stage department.
  • Manage staging requirements for Donmar productions and related projects to the highest possible standards.
  • Play a proactive part in the running and operation of the Production Department.
  • Support effective planning and management of departmental and building maintenance across all Donmar premises.
  • Promote good working practices and uphold the highest professional standards.
  • Represent the Donmar Warehouse externally within the wider Theatre community.

About the Company

  • The Production Department is led by the Director of Technical and Production [DTP]. The rest of the Department is made up of: Head of Stage [HoS], Deputy Head of Stage [DHoS], Head of Lighting (Sound and Video Supervisor) [HoLSV], Deputy Head of Sound and Video [DSV], Head of Costume [HoC], Deputy Head of Costume [DHoC], Production Assistant [PA]. Freelance Production Managers and Stage Management teams are recruited on a show-by-show basis.
