About the Role
As a Casual In-Store Fulfilment (ISF) Sales Assistant, you’ll be part of the behind-the-scenes action that keeps JD’s online orders moving. You will be picking products, checking details, packing orders, and preparing them for dispatch. This role is fast-paced and hands-on, requiring a good eye for detail, a sense of urgency, and the ability to manage order flow.
Responsibilities
- Pick online orders quickly and accurately
- Check every product before it leaves the building
- Pack orders and get them courier-ready
- Keep stock and inventory systems accurate
- Spot stock discrepancies and flag issues
- Help receive and organise incoming stock
- Keep the fulfilment area clean, organised, and safe
- Assist the wider store team during busy periods
- Represent JD with energy, attitude, and product knowledge
Requirements
- Customer service experience within retail, hospitality, or a similar industry
- Ability to provide excellent service and go above and beyond
- Passion for sports fashion or knowledge of key brands
- A positive can-do attitude and ability to work as a team
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Enthusiasm to overcome challenges and learn new skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Available to work morning shifts commencing at 6:00 am or 7:00 am
- Full-day availability is highly regarded
- Completed secondary schooling
