About the Role

This role sits at the center of Xero's Global Strategy & Operations (GS&O) team, helping shape the company's strategy and execution. You will work on strategy development, annual planning, OKR setting, executive reporting, and high-priority programs, while also leveraging AI to enhance team output.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to the definition and evolution of Xero's long-term strategy.
• Structuring and solving business problems through rigorous, fact-based, quantitative analysis.
• Developing market intelligence to identify trends and inform strategic decision-making.
• Leveraging AI tools to reimagine how work gets done.
• Running operating rhythms that translate priorities into action, including annual planning, OKRs, and Board reporting.

Requirements

• Experience at a top-tier consulting firm highly preferred, or comparable experience in strategy, operations, transformation, or related roles within a global technology or SaaS environment.
• Ability to turn ambiguous briefs into well-structured problems with clear hypotheses and data requirements.
• Proficiency in analytical rigor, data modeling, building business cases, and working through complex information.
• Skill in synthesizing analysis into crisp, well-argued recommendations with defensible trade-offs.
• Experience in building and maintaining processes, governance, and operating rhythms for coordinated action.
• Ability to build relationships across all levels and drive alignment through structured consultation and follow-through.
• Experience using AI tools to improve how work gets done.
