About the Role
As a pest control technician, you will work with commercial and residential customers to keep their premises bird-free. This role is ideal for problem solvers who value autonomy and flexibility and seek to be part of a supportive organization.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting client premises thoroughly for any sign of pests
- Carrying out measures as required to eliminate the pests
- Identifying sales leads in the region where possible
- Building rapport with and communicating with clients regarding the eradication and prevention process
- Developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Use of power tools to install hardware and various equipment
- Consistently working within both client's and Rentokil's safety parameters
- Communicating to internal stakeholders and clients both orally and in writing
Requirements
- Current and valid Australian driver's licence
- High-risk licence EWP (support provided for obtaining)
- White Card Construction (support provided for obtaining)
- Working at Heights certification (support provided for obtaining)
- Physically fit and able to work autonomously and drive long distances
- Confident using Android mobile phone service app/tablet
- Must complete a pre-employment assessment, including medical, reference, and criminal background checks, meeting Rentokil Initial's satisfactory criteria
