Responsibilities
- Follow safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all required GMPs and applicable manufacturing procedures.
- Assemble various products, components, and subassemblies using standard and specialty equipment or hand operations.
- Perform tasks such as pressing, bonding, soldering, flaring, stripping, clamping, sanding, welding, mounting/dismounting, and inspecting parts.
- Consistently meet daily production goals while producing high-quality products to specification.
- Set up, operate, perform minor maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment.
- Follow department procedures for material replenishment.
- Assist in training manufacturing personnel.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Work flexible hours and maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or a minimum of one year of manufacturing or production-related experience.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude through testing, job experience, technical training, or certification.
- Read, write, interpret, comprehend, and follow specifications.
- Perform basic math calculations and use measuring devices and tools.
- Consistently meet daily production goals.
- Successfully demonstrate visual accuracy.
- Meet or exceed dexterity requirements.
- Willingness to work on a team and promote collaboration.
- Ability to work flexible and/or extended hours.
- Willingness to rotate into different tasks and responsibilities.
- Ability to obtain department/job certifications.
- Ability to have prolonged interaction with chemical usage and mixes.
- Ability to work under magnification for long periods.
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods.
- Able to lift 35 lbs. (over 35 lbs. with assistance).
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers, feel, reach with hands and arms, and perform repetitive hand/wrist movements.
- Ability to pass department respirator programs and use of respirator.
- Achieve technical skills and proficiency in the safe operation of department machines and equipment.
