About the Role
The Employer Engagement Consultant is a frontline role within the Inclusive Employment Australia (IEA) program, supporting people with disabilities from refugee backgrounds to achieve sustainable employment. This role involves building strong relationships with employers, identifying employment opportunities, and providing holistic, participant-centred support to achieve program outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised employment support.
- Manage a caseload of participants.
- Assist participants in preparing for, securing, and maintaining work.
- Build strong relationships with employers.
- Identify employment opportunities through labour market engagement, job carving, and reverse marketing.
- Implement the SSI Service Delivery Model.
- Collaborate with colleagues and employer partners to create inclusive employment pathways.
Requirements
- Strong customer-focused approach.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated experience achieving KPIs while maintaining compliance.
- Sound knowledge of the labour market.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload in a culturally sensitive and inclusive manner.
- Willingness to complete a Certificate IV in Employment Services.
- Arabic speaking is essential.
- National Police Clearance required.
- Working with Children Check required.
