About the Role
Seeking security focused individuals with high attention to detail and an interest in the Aviation and Transport Sector to become Freight Air Cargo Examiners across multiple sites in Sydney on an afternoon shift, casual basis. This role offers a new pathway to a career in aviation security, with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently operate screening equipment to ensure the security of cargo and assets.
- Manage the flow of goods and services through facilities.
- Follow process control documentation, including safe work method statements and work instructions, to maintain a secure and compliant environment.
- Willing to travel to other local sites if required for leave coverage or assistance.
Requirements
- Willing to commit to complete company provided training to gain Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo) OR currently hold a Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (Cargo).
- Ability to successfully pass drug and alcohol screening and medical assessments including an Ishihara test.
- Ability to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance in the past 10 years).
- Hold an unrestricted driver's license and have own reliable vehicle.
- Availability to work across a 24/7 rotational roster if required.
