About the Role

Bankstown Sports Club is seeking a high-energy Duty Manager to act as the on-shift escalation point, overseeing venue operations, managing risk, and supporting multiple departments in a large-scale, high-volume hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as the on-shift escalation point for operational and customer issues.
• Manage day-to-day operations of a large, multi-outlet venue.
• Control floor flow and staffing during peak trade.
• Lead and coordinate multiple departments during shifts.
• Reallocate staff and resources to meet business demands.
• Manage contractors, including cleaning services.
• Resolve difficult customer issues professionally and confidently.
• Ensure compliance with RSA, RCG, WH&S, and emergency procedures.
• Lead teams through high-volume and fast-paced service periods.

Requirements

• Proven leadership experience as Duty or Venue Manager in a high-volume hospitality, food & beverage, or gaming environment.
• Experience leading medium to large operations teams.
• Strong resilience and productivity under pressure.
• Confidence handling escalated and challenging customer situations.
• Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions in real time.
• Strong attention to detail and operational awareness.
• Flexibility to work day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Current RSA, RCG and ARCG.
• Senior First Aid qualification (or willing to obtain).
