About the Role

As an outpatient care service, we are known for our neighborhood care in Berlin Lichtenberg - in the Fennpfuhl residential area. For over 15 years, we have been offering a comprehensive range of services: We provide care and support for seniors in their homes, in shared living communities, and in the day care center "Am Fennpfuhl". We want to enable people in need of care to live a self-determined life in their own homes despite health limitations.

Responsibilities

Care for and support seniors in shared living communities of 6 to 12 residents.
Perform household tasks such as cooking and laundry, in addition to basic care.
Accompany and support clients in daily life, structure the day, and promote community life.
Accompany clients on appointments, shopping trips, or walks.
Maintain contact and foster good relationships with relatives.
Support nursing specialists in treatment care.

Requirements

Successfully completed qualification as a nursing assistant or comparable training, e.g., as a nursing helper, or professional experience as a nursing assistant.
Love for the profession, empathy.
Reliability, diligence, and communication skills.
Team spirit and sociability.
High level of social competence and empathy.
Enjoyment of working with older people.
Willingness to work shifts (early and late shifts) and weekend and holiday duties.
