Responsibilities
- Support and care for individuals in various life situations, including inpatient, outpatient, and long-term care.
- Perform doctor-ordered medical tasks such as administering medication, changing dressings, and assisting with diagnostics and therapy.
- Provide support and advice to patients and their families on health-related matters.
- Learn to properly document the care process to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
- Gain insights into different areas including acute care, long-term care, and pediatric nursing due to the generalist approach.
Requirements
- At least a secondary school leaving certificate (Realschulabschluss) or a Hauptschulabschluss with completed vocational training.
- Enjoy helping people, be empathetic, and have strong communication skills.
- Handle demanding situations confidently and work reliably and conscientiously.
- Enjoy teamwork and value exchange with colleagues.
- Be physically and mentally resilient to meet the demands of the profession.
- Good German language skills, both written and spoken (B1 level).
- A training contract with a vocational school.
