About the Role
This role will provide critical support to the Affinity & Program business in Canada, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic, cross-regional team dedicated to driving program renewals and new business initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements, focusing on Program Policy renewals.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications for client application data capture, policy rating, and document/report generation.
- Communicate requirements clearly to Development and QA teams using the ADO Ticketing System, tracking and prioritizing tickets to meet project deadlines.
- Utilize data analysis tools to support client and application data migration into the Brokering System (Velocity).
- Develop test data and comprehensive test cases to facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinating UAT activities with business users and the COE Call Centre team.
- Create process maps to illustrate current workflows and proposed future state changes.
- Conduct functional and system integration testing to validate solutions and troubleshoot issues for timely resolution.
- Manage communications with clients and end users, and generate system reports tracking client renewal completion metrics.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of the insurance and brokerage industry with a strong background in Program Business operations.
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior IT Business Analyst, managing Program Renewals end-to-end.
- Familiarity with and adherence to Change Management processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an advanced level.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience conducting end-user training alongside business partners.
- Strong self-management and organizational skills.
