About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will identify high-level test scenarios, write test cases, execute manual test scripts, and report and follow up on defect resolutions. You will perform all QA-related tasks according to defined standards and procedures, delivering results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

Communicate with Functional Leads, Business Analysts, Solution Designers or Developers to understand testing scope.
Analyze technical documents to identify high-level test scenarios.
Develop positive and negative test cases using structured testing techniques.
Build manual test scripts, identifying expected results and corresponding test data.
Maintain the test suite based on new or changed functionalities.
Prioritize test execution based on assigned test case priority.
Execute manual test scripts, capture actual results, and report defects.
Follow up on defect resolutions within the established timeframe.
Collaborate with QA Leads and report testing progress.
Identify and communicate major risks regarding deadlines or quality.
Perform all QA-related tasks according to defined standards and procedures.
Meet deadlines by effectively managing and prioritizing tasks.

Requirements

1+ year of experience in software quality assurance.
Experience with automation is an asset.
Knowledge of JavaScript is an asset.
Ability to understand client needs from a testing perspective.
Ability to approach problems structurally using a combination of concepts and data.
Clear, constructive, and adaptable communication with stakeholders.
Ability to think from the users’ perspective.
Commitment to quality and openness to suggestions.
Curious, disciplined, and creative.
Detailed oriented and analytical.
Ability to take ownership and remain accountable.
Advanced knowledge of English is required for interaction with internal parties and use of English IT tools.
