About the Role
Texas Roadhouse is seeking a Restaurant Shift Lead with strong communication and leadership skills to support the management team in delivering legendary food and service.
Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining projected costs and labor during scheduled shifts.
- Provide hands-on supervision, including temporary assistance with serving, hosting, cooking, and other duties as needed.
- Host promotions and facilitate staff rallies.
- Ensure staff adherence to established recipes and procedures.
- Enforce applicable liquor laws and Responsible Alcohol Service guidelines.
- Manage guest flow and monitor ticket times.
- Collaborate with management to enforce employment policies within areas of responsibility.
- Coach employees to maintain consistency in food and service to increase sales.
- Conduct 100% table visits where applicable.
- Understand, manage, and practice safe food handling procedures.
- Uphold company culture and core values: passion, partnership, integrity, and fun with purpose.
- Work during peak business hours to set the pace in Front or Back of House.
- Create a fun, safe environment by adhering to core values and operational goals, and implementing contests, theme nights, and staff incentives.
